The Guardian-86 Speaker Protector

This high-end protection circuit is designed to protect speakers against:

• Annoying clicks and pops upon start up
• Thumps on power down
• Sharp voltage transients on power up or down
• Excessive DC voltage on the amplifier output

The Guardian-86 speaker protectors work on any voltage in the range of +12 V to +90 so they well with any amplifier powered by ±12 – ±90 V. They're also suitable for use both with single-ended output and bridged/BTL output amplifiers.
